Owa Afrikan Market was established in 1994 to meet the needs of those seeking authentic clothing and crafts from Africa. The name “Owa” means “home” in the Edo Language. Africa is our home, and our goal is to share its beauty and culture with you all.
Owa Afrikan Market began as an African clothing and fabric store but, driven by customer demand, we expanded our inventory to include a variety of African items including food, musical instruments, books, toiletries, wood carvings, and spiritual and religious items. We also carry a variety of Ifa, Orisha, and African herbs used by Babalawos, Santeros, Paleros, Onishegun, Orisha Priests and other Spiritual workers. Owa Afrikan Market is a USDA approved and recognized business.
Customers with questions about our religious items and products may consult with our spiritual adviser(s)—fluent in English, Yoruba, and Spanish.
We ship to all parts of the United States, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Europe, and Australia, with free shipping on all United States orders over $150.
Please enjoy browsing our products—if you are looking for something specific and cannot find it, please contact us.
We at Owa Afrikan Market appreciate your business and thank you for your continued support.
